Band History:
ATP was formed in 1993. ATP played local clubs until 1995 when drummer Kaz and bassist Kohei joined the band which then embarked on a recording spree that would result in two independently released albums: Animal Talks and Diary of Lost Days.
1996 saw ATP land a deal with BMG/Vivid and the release of their third CD, Sun Dancer. This allowed the band to move on to bigger venues, ultimately leading to appearances on Japanese national television shows such as Zeus' Holiday and Jaka-Jan. Dash/Dash, a documentary styled program, touted ATP as the best thing in Japanese alternative music.
After a long and crazy Sun Dancer Tour, ATP decided to take a break and started to run their own recording studio "bazooka" .
For more than 3 years, ATP released music only throu Internet.
Deranged Angel released in 2000 was the band's first album since Sundancer. It was a collection of songs ATP released throu Internet. It also was the first CD available outside of Japan. The song If You Ever held the #1 spot in Asia for over three months on MP3.com. Moon Dance and Cracked have held the #1 spots in the New Wave and Industrial charts.
In 2001 ATP released the soundtrack for the anime movie Guilstein, an action/horror film based on the manga by Tamaki Hisao. CD is released from Universal/Kitty. DVD is released throu Shogakukan in Japan.
ATP has just finished recording a new album
"WELCOME TO MY PSYCHEDELIC WORLD". It is a sort of sequel to Sun dancer album (in fact ATP almost named this new album Moon dancer....)
